What better way to celebrate Independence Day in Beaufort than with a sailing competition that combines some local history with the thrill of a race. This unique competition is a fast-paced race right in the heart of Beaufort, made up of competitors in traditionally-rigged sailing craft. It’s a thrill for contestants and viewers alike!
Beaufort Historic Association’s Summer Party

Beaufort’s history is embedded into the city and is something residents are proud to learn and share. Each summer, the hugely popular and highly anticipated summer party takes place on the grounds of the Beaufort Historic Site. This year, Beau Coast is a sponsor of the evening party features an enchanting atmosphere complete with dinner provided by Scarborough Faire Catering, an open bar, live music by the Night Years, dancing, a silent auction to benefit the Beaufort Historical Association, and a host of ways to enjoy the summer while supporting a beloved local cause.
